Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026.
Sports HQ is a personalized sports information service. This policy explains the information Sports HQ may process, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we may collect
Sports HQ may process account details you provide, the teams, players and sports you follow, notification and product preferences, contact-form submissions, questions you submit to Sports HQ AI, and technical or diagnostic information needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
Cookies, analytics and browser technologies
Sports HQ uses an essential session cookie through its authentication provider, Neon Auth, to keep signed-in users authenticated and protect account access. This cookie is used for security and account functionality and is not used for advertising.
Sports HQ also uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand general product usage and performance. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to operate without cookies and Sports HQ does not use it to track people across other websites or build advertising profiles.
Sports HQ uses the Reddit Pixel to measure whether Reddit advertising leads people to visit Sports HQ and create an account. The pixel may allow Reddit to receive browser or device information and use cookies or similar technologies according to Reddit's own privacy practices. Sports HQ sends Reddit standard page-visit and account-signup conversion events through this integration; it does not send Reddit your Sports HQ name, email address, followed teams or players, or Sports HQ AI questions through the pixel.
If you choose to enable browser notifications, your browser creates a push subscription that Sports HQ stores so the alerts you request can be delivered. Your browser may also store a service worker that supports those notifications.
How information is used
Information is used to operate and personalize Sports HQ, keep accounts secure, show the teams and sports you choose to follow, deliver requested alerts, answer questions submitted to Sports HQ AI, respond to support requests, maintain reliability, improve the product, and measure the effectiveness of Sports HQ advertising.
Service providers
Sports HQ uses service providers for hosting, database, authentication, analytics, advertising measurement, email, notifications, AI and sports data. Information is shared only as needed for those providers to perform their functions and subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.
Sale of personal information
Sports HQ does not sell personal information. Sports HQ uses Reddit advertising measurement to understand campaign performance, not to sell Sports HQ account information.
Retention and your choices
Sports HQ aims to keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Signed-in users can update many preferences directly in the product, and requests relating to an account or personal information can be submitted through the Contact Us form.
Children
Sports HQ is not directed to children under 13 and should not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Sports HQ changes, including when new features or service providers are introduced. The date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last updated.
